February 2014: 

The first phase of the SFERA project is over. It started on 01/07/2009 to 31/12/2013 (four years and a half). The website will still be active so that you can still access all deliverables from the project.
In the meantime, the second phase has been launched on 01/01/2014 and will end on 31/12/2017 (four years). You can find us on the new SFERA 2 website http://sfera2.sollab.eu/

 

 

February 2014: The first SFERA 2 access campaign has been launched with the following timetable:
January 1st 2014: Call open and submission of the project proposals. Check conditions for application
April 30th 2014: Deadline for submission.
May 2014: Selection of the projects to be hosted at the institution
June to December 2014: Hosting of the proposals

May 2013: 

The deadline for the submission of the SFERA Access proposals has been extended to the 9th of September. After the submission of your proposal, you should receive the results of the evaluation within a month so that you can access the installations quite rapidly after the submission (and this until December 2013).

  • 9 September 2013 : Deadline for submission of the last proposals.
  • New deadline : 15 September 2013
  • Until October 2013 : Constant evaluation of the proposals by the expert panel
  • Until November/early December : Constant hosting of the projects at the different facilities

February 2013: 

The 4th SFERA School will be organized by DLR (Germany) on the 15th/16th of May 2013. Topic: Measurement Tools and Standardization Aspects for Concentrating Solar Technologies. Please go to the Winter/Summer Schools page for more information on how to attend the school.

September 2012: 

The SFERA Access LAST campaign for project proposals is now open CONSTANTLY with the possiblity to host projects at the different facilities on a continual basis :

  • September 2012 : Opening of the call for proposals. Check conditions for application
  • 30 April 2013 : Deadline for submission of the last proposals
  • Until May 2013 : Constant selection of the proposals by the expert panel
  • Until 30 June 2013 : Constant hosting of the projects at the different facilities

March 2012: 

The 3rd SFERA Summer School will be organized by PSA - CIEMAT from the 27th to the 28th June, 2012.

December 2010: 

The SFERA presentation made public during a SFERA workshop at the SolarPACES International Conference, 21-24 September 201 is now available on the SFERA website.

October 2010: 

The SFERA poster is now available for download on the website. This general poster, like the brochure, gives you a brief description of the aims and activities of SFERA. You may use this poster for presentation at conferences or workshops.

September 2010: 

The SFERA brochure has been released in September 2010 and is now available on the website. It gives you a good overview of the project, summarizing the main activities and aims of SFERA. You may download and print the SFERA brochure to use in promoting SFERA activities.

March 2010: 

The 1st SFERA Summer School will be held in PROMES-CNRS Laboratory from the 10th to the 12th June, 2010.
